All Around Albany 2013: BEST Yet

University at Albany freshmen enjoyed another great All Around Albany event this year. On August 24, four hundred freshmen and transfer students packed onto SUNY shuttles for tours of Central Avenue.

The trip was followed by a tradeshow-style reception at the Albany Ramada Plaza hotel where 35 businesses from the district and beyond greeted students with food, fun, and freebies. This year's event included tours of the new Honest Weight Food Co-op, pictures with the Smile Monster, and a breakdancing competition.
