Anyone else, wearing ID lanyard or not, should be sent away and asked to make an appointment. Then, verify their information with the National Grid before allowing them into the building.
If they refuse to leave, call the Albany Police.
Individuals posing as National Grid workers have been trying to gain access to buildings around Quail and Central Avenue this week. They are looking for confidential data.
