This Fall, to help promote the soon-to-be-released Central Avenue Dining Guide, The Central Avenue Business Improvement District is taking your food on the road!
The CBID wants to help you
promote your restaurant—and the unique blend of international cuisine that
makes Central Avenue so exciting by creating a traveling food show that takes food from local restaurants to the area's largest employers.
Called "Delicious Destinations," this traveling food show will
consist of tables and chafing dishes full of food for local employees to sample
on their lunch hour, as well as information about your restaurant and menu. We
believe that once these employees taste your food, they will come to your
restaurant for more.
The Central Avenue BID will brand this event and promote it with lots
of eye-catching signage, and offer it as a free package to large local
employers, including hospitals, educational facilities, office complexes, and
Nanotech.
Are you interested in participating? Of course you are!
Requirements: Here’s what we need from you.
1.
A dish of food that serves 40-60 people
·
We recommend smaller items like appetizers and
finger foods for ease of portability and consumption. However, if you have a
truly delicious dish that you’d like people to sample that requires silverware;
we will find a way to make it work for you.
·
Choose food that is unique and represents your
restaurant well, so that people will remember you.
2.
Menus or coupons for your restaurant
·
This will help entice customers to your
restaurant, and give them information about location, hours, etc.
Logistics: Here’s
what we’ll do for you.
Our team will coordinate the events with employers, provide set-up
including signage, and staff the tables during the event. On the morning of the
event, we will send a vehicle over at a prearranged time to transport the food,
serving information, and menu information to the event. At the close, we will
return any serving supplies to you, and pass on all the compliments you
deserve!
