In the aftermath of a spate of pedestrian accidents in Albany, the Central Avenue Business Improvement District has produced and distributed a slate of traffic safety materials for the public.
This public safety campaign reminds pedestrians and drivers alike to obey the traffic safety laws and provides a short primer on traffic signals.
A joint initiative between the City of Albany, Albany Police Department, and the Central Avenue Business Improvement District, the campaign includes posters and handouts, which were distributed to businesses and pedestrians in the district. The materials will continue to be distributed the rest of the year.
