Sign up now: CBID to market your business to college students at upcoming “All Around Albany,” August 24

University at Albany freshmen visited the district last summer as part of All Around Albany, to learn more about the restaurants, stores, and businesses that make Central Avenue unique.
The Central Avenue Business Improvement District is always looking for ways to help make our member businesses more successful. This year, we’re inviting 1,000 University at Albany freshmen to visit the members of our district, as part of “All Around Albany,” our annual freshmen orientation event for UAlbany.

This event will take place at the Albany Ramada Plaza Hotel in Albany on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 11:30am-3:30pm. This event will be part of the university’s official orientation schedule, so you’ll meet students as they’re just arriving in town.

Why? Downtown SUNY is one block from Central Avenue, the uptown campus is only a bus ride away. Here’s how to bring students to your business: You can set up a table at the event, free of charge,  and advertise your business to 1,000 students. Or you can get the name of your business out by putting sponsoring part of the event. You’ll also have a chance to put coupons and promotional materials like menus into our goody bags.

Are you interested? Of course you are! Tables are free for the first 15 members who sign up!
