Florist Debbie Hall is very proud of her husband, Richard. "It's not every day that someone writes a book," she says. "I offered to put in on the marquee at the store, but he said no."
Instead, she's relying on other, less flashy ways to get the word out about his new book, Shadow Angels.
“Most of my working life was spent in the engineering field, setting up quality assurance programs for industry. While working the grind, my beautiful wife Debbie and I raised two fine human beings, and we now own a floral shop in Albany, NY. A few years ago, I decided to write that first book and wrote a book on my favorite subject--vampires,” says Hall. “Shadow Angels was born in my imagination, while paddling a kayak on a beautiful mountain lake in upstate New York.”
Densely descriptive and unrivaled when it comes to historic detail, Shadow Angels takes its cues from Anne Rice, who made it clear that the netherworld wasn’t just a man’s world. Shadow Angels features a series of stunning heroines, and Shawn, the central protagonist, a Vietnam war hero whose life is forever changed when he meets Anne, the vampire who will make his wounded body immortal.
Shadow Angels can be purchased on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple or Google. Hall is also available for public readings at your library, bookstore, community center, or book club. For more information, please contact Richard Hall at (518) 489-5461.
