Great Finds Thrift Boutique reopens June 3--Come back or Come for the first time

One of the singular displays at Great Finds Thrift Boutique, which features great buys and treats for the eyes.
Great news! Great Finds Thrift Boutique has reopened its doors at 260 Washington Avenue, welcoming its loyal fans back with the same great service, beautiful windows--and TONS of new merchandise!

The store, which was closed through the winter for capital improvements, reopened June 3 with great clothing and accessories to match any budget. "We're pushing through what we've accumulated, trying to get it on the floor as fast as possible," says Susan Taylor, Store Manager. Meanwhile, the windows are a feast for the eyes--as always--featuring spring florals and a beautiful wedding gown.

Taylor says the windows aren't just an advertisement for customers, they're an advertisement for donations. "A lot of times a customer will come in, and say, 'Oh my God, I have one of those and I've been hanging on to it all these years.' You see things in the window, and then, all of the sudden, those things arrive in the store," Taylor says.

To celebrate summer, the store is full of capris, tanks, summer dresses, and even summer business suits, says Taylor. A truckload of business attire donated by the Capital District Women's Employment and Resource Center (WERC) arrived earlier this year, Taylor says.

Currently, the store has 12 volunteer employees, and is looking to add an five more to the staff of volunteers.  For more information about Great Finds, please visit their Facebook page.
